Cynthia D. Adkins, Concierge Operations Consultant

Known worldwide as a concierge industry leader, Cynthia Adkins has been a concierge for 20 years, and has been in the hospitality industry since her first job at an amusement park at the age of 16.  She is the immediate past president of the International Concierge & Errand Association (ICEA) and has served as an Executive Board Member for regional and national Concierge Associations. Prior to founding Concierge At Large, Inc. in 1997, Cynthia Adkins' professional experience includes serving as Chief Concierge and Director of Guest Services for the Loews Coronado Bay Resort and the San Diego Pan  Pacific Hotel.                                                                                                                                      

Adkins is a recipient of both the Concierge of the Year award from the San Diego Concierge Association and the prestigious Gold Key Award for Hospitality Employee of the Year from the Hotel & Motel Association. She was the keynote speaker for the National Concierge Association's annual conference in 1998 and the International Concierge & Errand Association's annual conference in 2003.  She is one of only 25 concierges worldwide to be distinguished as an "
NCA Certified Concierge"   She was also an active member of the 1998 and 2003 Super Bowl Host Committees.  Adkins currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mt. Helix Park Foundation and is a Certified Travel Associate.

A former flight attendant and self-described "foodie", Cynthia enjoys experiencing regional cuisines and wines on her travels with her husband, a Fire Captain for the City of San Diego. An adoptive mom of two "gorgeous and talented" kids, she is a frequent speaker at social service orientations for prospective adoptive parents.
